This week's episode of The Lettuce Podcast features a tale as old as thyme. Charlotte moderates a discussion about the newly released live action Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson! Laura favors new character development given to both Belle and the Beast, but enjoyed character mainstays like Mrs. Potts. Additionally, the girls discuss which actors had the best embodiment of their characters, if there should be more live action remakes of classic Disney films, and whether they enjoyed Emma Watson's singing voice. Was Belle an underdeveloped character in the 1991 animated film? Does Gaston have genuine intentions, but fail in execution? And is Lumiere a passionate lover or just a creepy candelabra?
