GIlmore Ginger S6 - Show Notes


If you're out on the road feelin' lonely and so cold, all you have to do is call The Lettuce Podcast! Charlotte and Laura go back to Stars Hollow for Season 6 of their favorite female TV series Gilmore Girls. Ready Player Oregano - Show Notes


Travel and scheduling mishaps bring you a special "lost" episode this week, Lettuceheads. Charlotte and Laura are releasing their long awaited episode about the film Ready Player One. Originally recorded over a year ago, this episode covers the film production, how it compares to the beloved novel by Ernest Cline, what changes worked/didn't work, and more! Charlotte shares her criticisms of the changes made to the quests. Laura talks about why the film still had exciting elements despite plot changes. Together the girls discuss the cast of characters, the references, nerd culture, and more. Do the character changes in the movie help or hurt the overall plot? Is Nolan Sorrento a more believable bad guy? And does Wade's character have the same nerdy know-it-all attitude as his book counterpart? The chat about this action-packed film, it's cast of characters, how it fits into the MCU, and more. Charlotte share which action scenes felt unnecessary to her. Laura talks about Edward Norton's ability to portray the vulnerability of Bruce Banner. Together the girls discuss which actor they love, but feel was miscast in their role, share their opinions of The Incredible Hulk as an origin story, and more. Why didn't Edward Norton continue his role as Bruce Banner? Will the MCU ever include a Mark Ruffalo led Hulk film? And is Betty Ross's stand-in boyfriend, Leonard, the real victim in all the mayhem? All these questions and more are discussed on this week's episode!

The Lettuce Podcast celebrated 4 years of podcast on this week's episode! To commemorate the achievement, Charlotte and Laura took some time during the Fun & Games segment to reflect on their past 4 years, share their favorite moments, and share hopes for the future. Laura also challenged Charlotte to a short, Hulk-themed round of Marvel Madlibs.
