Gardens of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 - Show Notes

This week on The Lettuce Podcast, Charlotte and Laura catch up with Marvel's ragtag group of misfits in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2! They discuss the complex cast of characters, plot points, humor, and music. Charlotte explains her frustration with Gamora's lack of character development, but enjoys the introduction of a new female character, Mantis. Laura shares new appreciation for Yondu and Nebula, while questioning if the film's plot served the over MCU storyline. Together the hosts discuss the various relationships friendly, romantic, and familial that develop over the course of the film and what they think about Baby Groot's cute factor. Is Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 just a continuation of the introduction we got in the first film? Is Peter Quill truly the leader of this group of heroes? Which soundtrack is better: Awesome Mix, Vol. 1 or Awesome Mix, Vol. 2? All these questions and more are answered in this week's brand new episode!

The Fun & Games segment featured a Which Guardians of the Galaxy,Vol. 2 Character Are You? quiz and the girls' favorite game: Kill, Marry, Pity Date! Play along and comment on this post to tell us your answers!

The podtail for this episode was the very on-theme Star Lord Cocktail. This multi-colored concoction is bold, sweet, and fun just like our heroes!
