Fennel Fronted Music - Show Notes

The Lettuce Podcast is celebrating its 100th episode! Laura and Charlotte chose a very special topic for this momentous occasion: Female Fronted Music. The girls sit down to share their favorite female solo artists and bands including Lorde, Rilo Kiley, TLC, and more. Laura shares how her experience with the supremely talented Regina Spektor changed with each listen. Charlotte explained why Hole's music is not her favorite style, but she still appreciated Courtney Love's vocals. Both hosts reminisce about their middle school days with TLC, learn about self-love with Lizzo, and so much more. They also discuss their favorite (and unfavorite!) tracks and award a rating out of 5 chards for each album. Has Lorde grown up in her sophomore album? What elements make up Rilo Kiley's unique sound? And where the hell is Lizzo's phone? All these subjects are presented on this very special 100th episode of The Lettuce Podcast!

Charlotte and Laura began the Fun & Games segment with their standard music episode game: haiku.  Each shared a haiku written with their female artists in mind. The girls then took some time to reflect on the past 100 episodes of The Lettuce Podcast and share their hopes for the future of the show.

This week's podtails where chosen in the spirit of celebration and girls' nights: the kamikaze and champagne!
