Justice Lettuce - Show Notes

The Lettuce Podcast is sticking with comic book movies for this week's episode about the DCEU's Justice League. Charlotte hosts this topic where she and Laura discuss the mismatched superheros, Danny Elfman's score, how the movie measures up to its DCEU counterparts, the resurrection of Superman, and much more. Charlotte is excited to see her favorite superheroes in action and the addition of Jason Mamoa's Aquaman. Laura comments on film-making details that affected her experience and wonders where the DCEU will go from here. The girls also appreciated Ezra Miller's portrayal of Barry Allen/The Flash, wondered what's the deal with Cyborg, and wished for more Wonder Woman. Did Charlotte like Ben Affleck's Batman more in Justice League than in Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice? Was Steppenwolf's demise satisfying or underwhelming? And does the film leave its audience with more questions than answer? All these subjects and more on this week's episode of The Lettuce Podcast!

For the Fun & Games segment, Charlotte challenges Laura to a game of Madlibs with a hilarious result. They also take a zimbio quiz to find out which Justice League member they are.

Laura's pick for a podtail had dual purpose: The Superman Shot! Not only does this drink tie into the DCEU, but is also a popular cocktail in her husband's home state of Michigan.
