Solo: A Scallion Wars Story - Show Notes

The Lettuce Podcast is flying solo this week. Solo:A Star Wars Story to be exact. Charlotte acts as moderator and helps Laura navigate origin story for everyone's favorite space cowboy. Together they discuss characters old and new, their favorite and un-favorite plot developments, and whether the film satisfied their Star Wars cravings. Charlotte shares some notes about Emilia Clarke's acting, and questions what Beckett would be like in a different story. Laura notes the charm of Lando Calrissian, and shares her love of the woke droid L3-37. The girls also talk about Han's development from desperate runaway to confidant pilot, the inspiring friendship between Han and Chewbacca, Enfys Nest and the Cloud Riders, and much more. What's really going on with Qi'ra? Does the Star Wars universe need more character expansion? And Dryden Vos an effective villain or a pawn in someone else's game? All this and more on this week's episode of The Lettuce Podcast!

For Fun & Games, Charlotte and Laura played a classic round of 1, 2, 3, S/He's Yours. Charlotte then wrapped up the segment with a set of Star Wars Madlibs. You'll have to listen to hear the hilarious result!

Since Laura is unable to imbibe alcoholic beverages for the next few months, she'll be sharing a list of suggested podtails for your enjoyment. Mix up one or all of these while you listen. This weeks suggested podtails are: the Qui Gon Gin and Tonic, Jyn Urso & Juice, and the Flying Solo.
