Thor (Son of Okra) - Show Notes

Celebrate Mother's Day with The Lettuce Podcast and your favorite Norse god/superhero: Thor! Laura moderates this week's episode about her favorite original Avenger. She and Charlotte talk about Thor's origin story, the mysterious trickster Loki, how the film fits into the MCU, and more. Laura shares what she feels makes the film enjoyable after nearly 10 years and which other elements may not have aged so well. Charlotte wonders how Thor's abilties work and what happens to Jane in future MCU films. Together the girls discuss their favorite scenes in the movie, Agent Coulson's biggest role yet, and try to decide who the main villain of the movie is. Are Thor's powers a result of being a god or are they bestowed upon him from Oden? Why didn't Natalie Portman continue her role as Jane? And is Thor funny? All this and more on this week's episode of THe Lettuce Podcast!

For Fun & Games, Laura and CHarlotte first found out what their Norse Mythology names would be. They also played a new game called "Of House?" where they decided what Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire houses the characters of Thor would be in. Is Thor house Tyrell? Would Jane be a maester? Play along and tell us your opinion in the comments!

If you're looking for a tasty cocktail to enjoy while watching Thor or listening to this episode of TLP, try a Thor's Coffee. You can find the recipe here.
