Captain America: The Winter Squasher

We're with you to the end of the line! Charlotte and Laura are talking Captain America: The Winter Soldier on this weeks episode of The Lettuce Podcast. They discuss how the film affects the overall MCU, what stands out about Captain America, and what new information this film delivers. Charlotte shares her love for Captain America and his commitment to good. Laura explains why the Winter Soldier character made her feel sad. Together the girls discuss Steve Rogers' adjustment to modern life, question Nick Fury's origins, champion Natasha/Black Widow's savvy skills, and more! Does Captain America: The Winter Soldier facilitate the MCU storline or is it a stand alone film? Why did it take so long to give Black Widow her own film? And what's the deal with Steve and ladies with the surname Carter? All this and more on this week's new episode!

The Fun & Games segments brings another round of Charlotte's favorite TLP game: 1, 2, 3... He's Yours! Plus, Charlotte and Laura celebrate the recent release of their 200th episode by reviewing the ups and downs of TLP, sharing their favorite (and least favorite) topics, and talking about the future of The Lettuce Podcast.

For this episode's Podtail, Laura took a suggestion from her husband and enjoyed a White Russian. For extra Captain America infused fun, she added some blue curacao and grenadine to make a red, white, and blue concoction!
