Cabbage of Ultron

Laura and Charlotte are back at it with their chronological journey through the MCU. On this all-new episode, they review the second group Avengers film: The Avengers: Age of Ultron. They chat about the Avengers old and new, how the film fits into the universe, and what sets it apart from the rest of the franchise. Laura has questions about Bruce's ability to control his anger, and says who she thinks the most human character is. Charlotte assesses Ultron as a villain, and reveals how Captain America was out of character for this film. Together the girls gush about their favorite new Avenger (who could it be?), reveal their favorite scene of the movie, and try to figure out why this film just doesn't work. Is Tony Stark the lowkey villain of this film? Why does Thor only show up to perpetuate the most important plot points? And why was a romance between Natasha and Bruce introduced that had no affect on the story and doesn't exist outside of this film??

For the Fun & Games segment, Laura and Charlotte played a classic TLP game: Kill, Marry, Pity Date. Play along with the girls and post your choices in the comments!

For the podtail this week, Laura chose an autumnal cocktail to represent the Mind Stone. This yellow concoction includes apple cider, pumpkin liquer, and dark rum! Enjoy hot or cold!
